Junior Development (from 18th Aug 2019)

Lead coach for the junior squads is Daniel McDonald. Coach for Junior Development is Alex Wlaker.

The Junior Development section of the club will be based between the ‘Learn to train’ and ‘train to train’ phases of LTAD. In this squad swimmers will develop their aerobic capacity while maintaining the skills already developed. This will be accompanied by increasing levels of individualized and race specific technique development. The introduction of basic land training will add a further dimension to the training base for this squad and further aid the development of the swimmers.
